Rollers and side profiles

C-sections or I-sections should be used as supporting beams, to which the gravity conveyor can be easily mounted using a special clamp (detail B in the drawing). As the first and last supporting beam, an angle bar should be used, which protects the ends of the conveyor and the end rollers from damage and does not limit the size of the space between the individual levels of the conveyors.

The maximum spacing of the supporting beams can be read on the basis of the diagram shown above. Diagram made for a continuous load equally distributed on both supporting profiles. It is not recommended to use spacing between support beams larger than 1.3 m due to the possibility of significant deflection of the side profiles of the conveyors, which may cause malfunction of the conveyor.

Side profiles used for gravity conveyors are galvanized as standard.

In gravity conveyors, rollers with a ø60x2 mm pipe are used. The load capacity of one roller is 175 kg. The roller bearings are maintenance-free. As a standard, gravity coneyors are equipped with rollers without protective coatings. On request, the rolls can be zinc galvanized. The standard roll spacing is 156 mm.

The total width of gravity conveyors is 952 mm for pallets with a width of 800 mm. For pallets with a width of 1000 mm, the total width of the rack grav. is 1152 mm.
