Separator

From the receiving side, a separator is used in gravity conveyors. The standard separator works automatically and does not require a drive. The separator brakes the pallet in front of the end-stop and separates it from the rest, which enables easy picking up of the pallet with a forklift truck. After the pallet is picked up, the separator automatically unblocks the flow of the next pallets, so that the next pallet is delivered to the receiving station and separated from the rest. The pallet is braked in front of the end-stop by rubbing the pallet against special ramps. Another method of braking the pallet in front of the end-stop is by using a brake roller.

When it is necessary to transport pallets of different lengths, it is necessary to use a driven separator.

 

In the case of a gravity rack for 2, 3 or 4 pallets, a simplified separator can be used.
